Troy Creasy

Captain Troy Creasy is the Owner of High Adventure Sportfishing and Pine Island Sportfishing. He is a full-time dedicated professional angler, guide, instructor and writer with over 37 years in the guiding industry. Captain Troy is proud to work with the top companies in the industry and use only the best equipment available.

He is currently a Pro team member of Yamaha Outboards as well as a pro-staff member for Aftco, Scotty, Mustad Hooks, Sunline, Pavati Boats, Pro-Troll, Atlas Mikes Baits, Engle coolers and Atomik Trolling Flies. He is on the pro guide program for Simms and Filson clothing and has been very active in the Fish community since 1987.

Captain Troy Charters the Eastern Basin of Lake Ontario the Salmon River and the backwaters of Southwest Florida’s Pine Island Sound.

He has served as president of the Oswego County River Guides Association. He is a member of the Lake Ontario Binational Stakeholders committee, NYS Fisheries Congress, Lake Ontario Sportfishing Promotion Council, Eastern Lake Ontario Salmon and Trout Association and the New York State Writers Association. He is also the past owner/publisher of Lake Ontario Outdoors magazine, a quarterly publication promoting outdoor sports in the Lake Ontario region.

Captain Troy is well known in the Great Lakes region and SW Florida as a guide, seminar speaker, writer and tournament angler. He regularly competes in salmon tournaments across Lake Ontario and has numerous top ten finishes.

On September 7, 1991 he led his client to the New York State and Great Lakes record Chinook salmon and that record still holds today at 47 lbs 13 oz.
